Where:
Refraktion is held upstairs in the main room at The Arts Garage at 1533 Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19130. There is ample free parking and security and the venue hosts a cafe downstairs with food and free wifi.

The Live Show:
Refraktion will host the Berlin/NYC electronic musician The Horrorist, with his first performance in Philadelphia since the 1990's. While many may know The Horrorist a.k.a. Oliver Chesler from Depeche Mode's documentary film "101" released in 1989, he is primarily known for pushing relentless and intense electronic beats with sometimes humorously dark and twisted lyrics. His music runs the spectrum of early '90's warehouse techno to old school EBM to modern day electro. Though his roots are and continue to be well-planted in the US and European techno scene, in the late '90's he gained recognition and following in the industrial club scene which has in recent years included a performance at the Kinetik music festival in Montreal - which could be considered an official stamp of approval in the industrial music scene.

The Dancefloors:
Refraktion will include industrial EBM and dark techno on the dance floor spun by some of the top djs from the tri-state area underground electronic music scene - Resident DJs Blackwidow and Mike Mythix along with special guest DJs Johanna Constantine who makes her rounds regularly in the underground NYC club circuit and Jamie Morris formerly of 611 Records who will bring the darker side of techno to the dance floor.

A special addtion to this night will include Cafe Elektronik hosted in the Arts Garage Cafe with DJs Carlitoz the Maestro and Mighty Mike Saga who are both very well known in the Philadelphia electronic dance club scenes.

The Visuals:
Resident VJ Static will be mixing and pumping out no less than mind-blowing and insane visuals at Refraktion.

Entrance to this event at Refraktion is 18+ w/ID and 21+ to drink.
